ONCE UPON A TIME
I have been a caterer, a paramedic, a bartender and a funeral and cemetery salesperson, until I decided to sell above ground real estate...
A true Midwest girl ~ I was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa as an only child to the funniest and most talented parents. I graduated from University of Iowa with a Bachelor in Science degree in Psychology with the hopes of entering medical school, which is where I spent five years on a Fire Department as a Paramedic furthering my hands-on experience. When the hopes of that dream dissolved, I utilized my steadfast bartending job at a successful Iowa restaurant to transport me to Scottsdale, Arizona in 2000 to open a new location and soon I found my new place to call home! My first true sales job at the Cemetery/Funeral home was the most intense sales training I have ever experienced and led me to obtain my real estate license in 2002 and the rest... is history!
I finally found my purpose, using my exceptional service, efficiency and Midwest work ethic to help people with the biggest purchase of their lives.
My mother had a catering company growing up and I inherited her trait for good cooking and fabulous entertaining! I love to throw a 5-course dinner party, an epic Halloween or Mardi Gras soiree. I have not mastered the art of speedy knife skills, throwing dough high in the air or flipping an omelet but I always aim to please!
I love a contemporary style home. I change my living room colors by season, master school projects as an eager Stepmom, attempt to strum the guitar to Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd and over-decorate like Clark Griswald for Christmas!
I am scared of the gym itself but love yoga, rainy days, horror movies and taking summer night swims. I love billiards, cribbage and pitch card games, rooting for the Suns and the Iowa Hawkeyes. Go Hawks!
Have a passion for reading ~ Love hosting Book Club! My favorites range from Steinbeck's East of Eden to Kristin Hannah's The Great Alone.
